This movie is HIGHLY overrated, my main problem is the fact that it's just a copy/paste from the stage, rather than a new adaptation of the show. It comes across as very lazy, which isn't surprising coming from Disney. The music is okay, it definitely does not beat Wicked, West Side Story or The Lion King's soundtracks. The story is good but like I said earlier, it's very much affected to me that it's just a copy-paste movie. Needless to say, I was very disappointed, this isn't an adaptation, you might as well see it on Broadway rather than waste a Disney+ subscription, so uncreative. Really hope the new Wicked movie coming out in 2021 or 22 isn't this lazy.
